Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical and mental health pre-surgery and prepare for procedures.
• Provide clear explanations of surgical procedures and post-operative expectations to patients and families.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia; administer pain medications and ensure comfort.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication with surgeons, anesthesiologists and the care team.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education.
