Job summary

Regent Surgical Health, LLC is seeking an experienced RN for the Oregon Surgical Institute to provide PreOp/PACU nursing care. You will prepare patients for surgery, monitor vitals, and support recovery while coordinating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

This full-time role requires an Oregon RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, and ASC experience is preferred. The position offers a structured schedule with no calls, no weekends, and holidays off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in Oregon.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical and mental health, prepare for surgery and assess surgical site/airway and IV access.
• Provide explanations of the procedure to patient and family members.
• Ensure informed consent and safety protocols to prevent complications.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia; manage pain.
• Communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and the surgical team for coordinated care.
• Prepare discharge instructions and assess readiness for discharge or transfer.
