Job summary

Regent Surgical is looking for a PreOp/PACU RN in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This role involves comprehensive care of patients before and after surgery, ensuring safety through monitoring and assessments.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and preferably two years of nursing experience. This is a per diem position with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing necessary.
• RN license in the appropriate state required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical and mental health before surgery.
• Monitor vital signs as patients recover from anesthesia.
• Administer pain medication as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care.
