Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks a Registered Nurse for Peri Anesthesia (Pre-Op and PACU). This full-time role features a variable schedule and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, BLS, and perioperative experience, with BSN and CNOR preferred. Responsibilities include direct and indirect perioperative patient care, collaboration with surgical and anesthesia teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training
• CNOR certification preferred
• BSN preferred
• ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• PALS certification (required within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Supervise OR technicians and other staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and participate in Performance Improvement activities.
