Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse - Peri-Anesthesia (Pre-Op/PACU) for day shifts in Lewiston, ME. The role includes direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting, collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.

Offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs with 2+ years in acute care and a $10,000 sign-on for new graduates, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide OR staff to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and attend in-services.
