Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Peri Anesthesia (Pre-Op and PACU) team in Lewiston, ME. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and a variable schedule to support patient care across perioperative services.

The RN will coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesiologists, maintain nursing standards, and participate in performance improvement activities. ACLS/PALS are required upon hire, with CNOR and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training
• Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Directly accountable to OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services.
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist; guide OR Technician and other personnel.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing and unit policies.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and in-services.
