Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgery Center in Auburn, Maine. This full-time position offers a day shift from 06:30 to 17:00 and pays $36.00 to $49.16 per hour, with the possibility of a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified RNs.

The role involves perioperative patient care, collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and adherence to nursing standards. A current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and perioperative experience are required, with CNOR

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training.
CNOR Certification (AORN) preferred.
BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting using the nursing process.
Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist and supervise OR staff.
Maintain standards, participate in Performance Improvement activities, and support a safe patient flow.
