Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of accredited college or university.
• Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
• Work experience as a professional nurse.
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Ability to demonstrate clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies and aims for fiscal responsibility.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates pre- and post-operative nursing care.
• Organizes and maintains medical records; follows up on missing data.
• Maintains skills in IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessment.
• Communicates with health care providers to coordinate care.
• Participates in committees and quality improvement activities.
• Ensures safety and compliance with OSHA and HIPAA.
