Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care through all phases of the nursing process. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes and compassionate care.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating care, administering medications, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN license required (state licensure and/or compact licensure).
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop care plans.
• Assist during procedures within competency and documented skill level.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
