Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and deliver high-quality care per physician orders. This role supports pre-, intra-, and post-operative care and requires administering medications, monitoring patients, and educating families.

Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
• RN licensure in state required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient education

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies
• Assists with procedures and medications administration
• Documents care thoroughly and communicates changes to care team
• Provides patient and family education on conditions and discharge plans
• Maintains infection control standards and safety practices
