Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital is seeking an experienced nurse to provide nursing care in the operating room for surgical and invasive procedures. You will scrub, circulate, and prepare the OR and instruments, while interacting with patients and families to ensure a positive experience.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within six months, with additional opportunities for perioperative residency and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ASN, BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures
• Perform scrub and circulating functions
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use
• Other duties as assigned
