Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse B-Operating Room to provide and document comprehensive perioperative care in a full-time, varied shift setting. The RN will function as circulating or scrub nurse per orientation, following AORN standards and your department's model of care.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with the team, and ongoing professional development within LLUMC-Murrieta, with emphasis on patient-centered care and safety in the operating room

Qualifications

• ASN required for RN licensure in California.
• Enrollment in BSN program within six months of hire is required with expected completion date two and a half years after enrollment.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience in perioperative care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as circulating nurse or scrub nurse as assigned.
• Prioritize, coordinate, provide and document age-specific patient care in the OR.
• Adhere to AORN standards and department policies; apply care planning and evaluation.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff; work with minimal supervision.
