Truman Medical Centers is seeking a dedicated Perioperative Registered Nurse to provide skilled care in the OR and PACU. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care across the surgical continuum, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role involves collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams, plus mentoring nursing students and staff while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri RN license or eligibility.
• BCLS certification required and maintained.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification, if required by department.
• Radiology certification/competency if radiology functions are part of the role.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the OR and PACU.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients.
• Educate patients and families about the recovery process and care plans.
