Job summary

Banner Health's University Medical Center Tucson is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to join our Surgery department. The OR RN will support patient care before, during and after procedures, ensuring safety, quality and timely interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Position details include full-time hours with varied shifts, on-site work in Tucson, and eligibility for a $10k sign-on incentive for experienced external OR RNs.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per policy and professional standards.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Provide teaching and discharge planning to patients and families.
• Supervise nursing staff as assigned and ensure continuity of care.
