Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for our Phoenix area hospital. You will join the Surgery department, supporting general, trauma, GYN and plastics cases.

Responsibilities include optimizing patient care before, during, and after procedures, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork. The role requires OR circulating experience and Periop 101, with full-time evening/night hours and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Preferred: BSN or higher.
• Perioperative experience and magnet-designated facility familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care in the operating room per physician orders.
• Document care, outcomes and patient status accurately and timely.
• Supervise and mentor staff; promote evidence-based practice and patient safety.
