Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• 18 months of OR/perioperative nursing experience required.
• RN license by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the OR desk to promote efficient flow and patient needs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support surgical services and staffing.
• Direct shift staff to prioritize patient care and train desk ancillary personnel.
• Adjust staffing based on volumes to optimize labor costs.
