Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and counseling in the operative setting.
• Apply AACN Synergy Model to guide data gathering, assessment and intervention.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care and collaboration with the health team.
