Job summary

Baptist Health’s Baptist South location in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a PRN Day shift. The RN will work closely with physicians and OR teams, checking in patients, coordinating assignments, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

The role requires an ASN, with BSN preferred, and 2–3 years of Surgical Services and Critical Care experience. BLS is required; ACLS, Conscious Sedation, CNOR/CCRN and RN licensure strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required (ASN).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• 2-3 years Surgical Services experience requested.
• 2-3 years Critical Care Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and receive patient assignments in the OR.
• Serve as Circulating Nurse and assist during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and room management during surgery.
