Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a PRN Day shift at Baptist South. You will circulate, assist with positioning, counts, and patient advocacy throughout intraoperative care.

Requirements include an ASN, RN license, BLS, 2–3 years Surgical Services and Critical Care experience; CNOR/CCRN and ACLS preferred. This role requires on-call with a 40-minute response and offers differential pay.

Qualifications

• ASN required for RN in OR.
• BSN preferred for advanced standing.

Responsibilities

• Work as Circulating Nurse in the OR and with physicians and OR teams.
• Verify patient information, position patients, manage room, and initiate counts.
• Act as patient advocate and document intra-operative care.
• Provide care until transferred to PACU.
