Job summary

Cody Regional Health in Cody, WY is seeking a Registered Nurse – Circulating RN for the OR to oversee safe surgical preparation, patient education, and discharge planning. The position is an Internal Secondary (no guaranteed hours) daytime role reporting to the Surgical Services Director, with CNOR preferred and licensure requirements specific to Wyoming.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Wyoming RN license or multistate license via NLC.
• CNOR preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (AHA). Maintain TNCC only if floating to PACU.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the OR and postoperative areas, ensuring safe, efficient nursing care.
• Perform focused assessments across age groups and document findings promptly in the EHR.
• Circulate in all areas of the OR, including C-sections, and prepare surgical suites per AORN standards.
