Job summary

Cody Regional Health is seeking a Registered Nurse – Circulating RN for the OR on a PRN days basis within Surgical Services in Cody, WY. The Circulating Nurse prepares patients for surgery, administers nursing care, and ensures safe, efficient perioperative processes.

The role requires handling anesthesia-related issues and coordinating care with the surgical team. Ideal candidates hold a Wyoming RN license, CNOR is preferred, and have at least one year of perioperative experience with scrubbing

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license for Wyoming (or multistate license). CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum one year perioperative nursing experience; scrubbing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the OR and PACU settings.
• Assist in preparation and turnover of the surgical suite following procedures.
• Document medications and nursing care in the EHR in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families about perioperative care and discharge planning.
