Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care throughout the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Assess physiological and psychosocial health status of patients.
• Document care accurately in patient records and communicate with the care team.
• Ensure patient/family understanding and goals; adjust plans as needed.
• Respond to emergencies following policies and procedures.
