Job summary

Madisonhealth is seeking a Perioperative Nurse to provide individualized care from preoperative assessment through intraoperative intervention and postoperative evaluation. The role emphasizes applying current clinical knowledge with established nursing practice to meet patient needs and ensure continuity of care during the surgical experience.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule (6:00am–2:30pm) and periodic on-call 4–5 times monthly, requiring Idaho RN licensure and ACLS

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer programs is required.
• CPR-BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire is required or pursued.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current Idaho RN license.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of individualized nursing care to surgical patients from preop to postoperative evaluation.
• Apply nursing process to meet patient needs and ensure continuity of care during the surgical experience.

Skills

Knowledge of basic computer programs

CPR-BLS

ACLS within 6 months of hire

1 year acute care experience preferred

Graduate of an accredited school of/n
