Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at St. Anne Hospital. The RN will lead patient assessments, coordinate intraoperative care, and ensure a safe, healing environment for surgical patients.

Requirements include RN licensure, an accredited nursing degree (AS or BS), and current BLS; ACLS/PALS and OR internship are preferred. Join a faith-based organization committed to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• RN with current state licensure.
• BLS Basic Life Support; ACLS/PALS preferred at hire (must obtain).
• Two years RN experience in Critical Care is preferred.
• OR internship program completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and assist the team to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
• Manage the nursing care of the patient within the OR and coordinate with other care providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
