Key-Whitman Eye Center McKinney in McKinney, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time, on-site support. The role requires 24 hours per week and involves direct perioperative nursing in the surgical environment.

You will assist with PRE-OP/PACU equipment, monitor patients, coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and participate in performance improvement activities. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum of one year in perioperative or ophthalmic patient care.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to adult patients.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety in pre-op and PACU.
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists; communicate changes.
• Document thoroughly in patient charts per policy and shift.
• Maintain regulatory requirements and follow nursing policies and procedures.
