Job summary

SCA Health in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to join our perioperative team. You will promote our mission and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to ensure patient-centered perioperative care.

The ideal candidate has OR nursing experience, an active RN license in good standing, and certification in BLS with ACLS and PALS as required by pediatric-specific scope. This is an on-site role in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification obtained within 90 days of employment or current BLS on file.
• ACLS certification obtained within 90 days of employment or current ACLS on file.
• PALS certification required within 90 days if pediatric care is included in facility scope of services.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
