Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to oversee comprehensive perioperative care across preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license for TN at hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred / upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases.
• Direct and coordinate activities of the health care team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Lead patient-centered care and maintain focus on quality and safety in a dynamic environment.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in patient condition and document findings.
• Engage patients to understand illness, lifestyle impacts, and educate on diet, activity, smoking and weight management.
