Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. seeks an Operating Room Supervisor to oversee day-to-day OR operations, support clinical staff, and ensure a safe, compliant environment. This hands-on leadership role includes assisting with patient care, staffing needs, quality initiatives, infection control, and regulatory compliance.

The incumbent will coordinate OR activities, participate in onboarding and evaluations, and lead safety drills and audits to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum three years perioperative nursing experience including OR.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, evaluations, and performance discussions with leadership.
• Monitor infection prevention and complete audits and documentation.
• Coordinate daily OR activities, patient flow, staffing, and coverage.
• Provide direct patient care by circulating or assisting in Pre-Op/PACU as needed.
• Review monthly safety and quality reports to identify trends and actions.
• Coordinate physician peer-review audits as assigned.
• Conduct monthly safety checks (lights, call systems).
• Coordinate emergency drills and safety preparedness activities.
