Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation) for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and/or caregivers.
