Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking for perioperative care.
• Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and patient status post-op.
• Experience with perioperative nursing processes and medication administration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-operative nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Administer medications and coordinate care needs.
• Manage wound and drain care per clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams and other disciplines.
