CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive bedside care for pre- and post-operative general surgery patients in Concord, Missouri. You will monitor vitals, manage pain, support safe recovery, and educate patients and families about procedures and discharge planning.

The role requires strong perioperative assessment skills, clear communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment to improve patient outcomes.

Formación

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills.
• Ability to manage perioperative patient care with attention to safety and detail.
• Effective communication and patient/family education skills.
• Comfort working collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver direct patient care before and after surgery
• Monitor and document patient status, including vitals, pain, and incision/surgical site condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members to support clinical decision-making
• Provide clear patient and family education on procedures and discharge planning
• Participate in quality improvement and innovation efforts to enhance patient outcomes
