Peterson Health in Kerrville, Texas, is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to work in the Main Operating Room. The role requires call responsibilities and involves coordinating perioperative care for patients, with emphasis on safety and quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure in Texas, BLS and ACLS certifications within 90 days, and one or more years of OR circulating experience. CNOR is preferred; benefits include health and retirement plans, PTO, and education scholarships.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Texas RN license; BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Acts as patient advocate during the perioperative period by implementing a plan to protect patients from injury, wrong site surgery, infection and retained instruments.
• Coordinates the patient’s care between providers and hospital staff; supports physical and emotional needs and assists the surgeon.
• Documents care provided accurately and completely, including interventions, equipment, and supplies.
