Required are a nursing degree and Texas RN license, with BLS and ACLS within 90 days. CNOR and BSN preferred; experience in an OR setting is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Texas RN license with current licensure in Texas.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as patient advocate during the perioperative period and coordinate care among providers and hospital staff.
• Supports the patient’s physical and emotional needs while assisting the surgeon.
• Documents care provided accurately, including interventions, equipment, and supplies.
