Job summary

Chattanooga Pain Center is hiring a Full-Time Perioperative RN in Hixson, TN. No call, no weekends, and no holidays. You will join a physician-owned center delivering high-quality surgical and patient care, supporting preop, intraop, and postop phases with a collaborative team in a modern facility.

Responsibilities include planning patient care, administering meds, monitoring vitals, and ensuring infection control. Requires TN RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 3 years perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 3 years of perioperative, pre, postoperative or OR nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Longevity in past roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the surgical team to plan and implement patient care during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, providing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with anesthesia administration.
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.
