Chattanooga Pain Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a full-time Perioperative RN. The role covers preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, with a focus on safety, comfort, and patient well-being throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years perioperative, preop, postop or OR nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Longevity in past roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the surgical team to plan and implement patient care during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, providing nursing interventions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with anesthesia administration.
• Maintain a sterile surgical environment and comply with infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Document patient care accurately and timely per facility policies.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
