Job summary

Chattanooga Pain Surgery Center is seeking a compassionate Pre-Admissions RN to prepare patients for surgery, ensure medical readiness, and educate about the process. You will perform pre-op assessments and coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to promote smooth experiences.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or major holidays, a competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state) and BLS certification.
• Experience in Pre-Admissions or Pre Op.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments for ambulatory surgery patients.
• Review medical histories, medications, and clearances to ensure surgical readiness.
• Educate patients on pre-op and post-op care, enabling a smooth recovery.
• Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to optimize care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide compassionate, patient-centered support.

About the Role:

As a Pre-Admissions RN, you will play a crucial role in preparing patients for their upcoming procedures by ensuring they are medically optimized and fully informed. You’ll conduct pre-op assessments, review medical histories, coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia teams, and provide patient education—all while delivering exceptional care.

• Review medical histories, medications, and necessary clearances to ensure surgical readiness

What We’re Looking for:
