Brooks-TLC Hospital System in Dunkirk, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant for the BTLC Operating Room. The RNFA will function as first assistant, managing perioperative care, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

The role requires a BSN, current NY RN license, CNOR, RNFA, and BLS/ACLS/PALS within 6 months, with RNFA internship and adherence to AORN standards. Full-time, onsite position with on-call and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited program.
• Current NY RN license; BLS, CNOR, RNFA, ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
• RNFA program meets AORN Standards; includes course and internship; college credit may be awarded.

Responsabilités

• Provide perioperative nursing management and assist the operating surgeon during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; support patient, visitors and families.
• Work on-site in BTLC Operating Room with on-call and weekend requirements.
