Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support the surgeon during operative procedures. You will perform perioperative assessments and collaborate with the surgeon, nursing team, and anesthesia provider to plan patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, two years of nursing experience, an active RN license, CNOR, and BLS prior to orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Two years nursing experience.
• Current RN license in state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• CNOR certification.
• BLS required prior to orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Function as a registered nurse first assistant under the surgeon during operative procedures.
• Perform perioperative assessments and formulate a plan of care in direct communication with the surgeon, nursing personnel, and anesthesia provider.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety during procedures.
