Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across the perioperative continuum. The role includes assisting during operative procedures and functioning as an RN circulator when needed.

Requirements include nursing degree, completion of an AORN RNFA program, and CNOR with BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. Minimum perioperative RN/RNFA experience; CVOR experience favored. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (didactic and clinical).
• Two years perioperative RN or RNFA experience; CVOR: three years as RN or Surgical Tech.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of safe, effective perioperative care.
• Functions as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• May serve as RN circulator in the OR.
• Complies with scope of practice, privileges, experience, education and competency verification.
