Job summary

Spokane Urology is seeking an ASC Registered Nurse OR Circulator to plan and perform nursing care for patients undergoing surgery and invasive procedures, from pre-op assessment to post-op evaluation. The RN acts as patient advocate during anesthesia and collaborates with the anesthesia team, surgeon, and staff to ensure patient safety.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure, at least 2 years as an RN Circulator, and proficiency with EMR and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license required per state regulations.
• Minimum 2 years RN Circulator experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all nursing care inside the surgery room, ensuring a safe environment.
• Ensure surgical team operates in a unified, coordinated effort.
• Advocate for the patient before, during, and after surgery.
• Prepare tools and materials needed for procedures.
• Record operation details, including staff, tools, anesthetic, and duration.
