Job summary

Astrana Health, Inc. is seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the surgical experience at Foothill Regional Medical Center.

You will assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care for patients undergoing operative procedures, acting as a key member of the surgical team. The role requires an active CA RN license, AHA BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of OR experience or perioperative training.

Qualifications

• Active, current, and unrestricted RN license in California.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• At least 1 year operating room knowledge or perioperative training.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Function as a scrub nurse and/or circulating nurse during surgical procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes throughout perioperative care.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, patient-focused surgical environment.
