Qualifications

• Active, current, and unrestricted RN license in California.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• At least three years perioperative nursing knowledge experience.
• Current CNOR certification.
• RNFA education program with supervised clinical component.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical support to the surgeon during operative procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Perform preoperative assessments, intraoperative first‑assist responsibilities, and postoperative evaluations of care.
• Demonstrate aseptic techniques, infection prevention, and operating room standards.
• Maintain professional accountability and adapt to a fast-paced perioperative environment.
