Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Preferred - PALS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• CNOR Preferred.
• 2 years of OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care for an assigned group of patients, providing patient-centered care.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessment to develop a standard of care to meet outcomes.
• Adheres to established nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures in care delivery.
• Conducts initial assessments to establish baselines for future comparisons and individualization of care.
• Maintains accurate documentation and ensures availability of supplies; knowledgeable in equipment operation.
• Serves as an educator to peers, patients, and families; supports service excellence and a healing environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
