Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center, a leading health care destination in Palm Beach County, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the operating room. The RN will provide patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients, directing and evaluating nursing care within established standards.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association; PALS and CNOR are preferred. At least 2 years of OR experience is required.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Preferred - PALS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• CNOR Preferred.
• 2 years of OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Provide holistic patient-centered care across physical, developmental, emotional, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and functional domains.
• Document accurately and ensure adequate supplies; operate equipment as needed.
• Educate peers, patients, and families to support service excellence and a healing environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
