Job summary

NOVA Plastic Surgery, LLC is seeking a compassionate Perioperative Registered Nurse in Ashburn, VA. The role covers pre-op through PACU in a Quad A–accredited office-based surgery center, with daytime hours and a 24–30 hour workweek.

In this position, you will start IVs, verify consent, monitor vitals, assist with induction and extubation, and support OR and recovery activities. OR or ambulatory center experience is a plus, with training provided for those new to perioperative nursing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Ambulatory or OR-related nursing experience preferred.
• Comfort with office-based surgery center environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Operative: verify patient identity, consent, vitals, IV start and pre-op meds.
• Intraoperative: assist with induction, positioning, infection control, counts.
• Recovery: monitor vitals, pain control, discharge criteria.
• Surgery Center Ops: maintain stock, NexTech cards, quarterly inventory.
