Job summary

NOVA Plastic Surgery and Dermatology in Ashburn, VA seeks a compassionate Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our surgical team in a Quad A–accredited office-based center. You will guide patients through pre-op, intraoperative and recovery phases, delivering one-on-one care in a focused, patient-centered setting.

Operating room experience is a plus, but we train new perioperative RNs. Expect daytime hours, 24–30 per week, with Tuesday and Wednesday full availability; long-term growth in a

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact license valid for VA.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Available every Tuesday and Wednesday, 6:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
• Willingness to complete continuing education modules.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Operative: verify identity, consent, vitals; start IVs; assist with pre-op prep.
• Intraoperative: assist CRNA, position patients, ensure infection control, counts.
• Recovery: monitor vitals and discharge readiness; administer meds as ordered.
• Center Ops: stock supplies, manage inventories, maintain NexTech records; uphold Quad A standards.
