Job summary

Penn Medicine in Philadelphia is seeking a Clinical Nurse 2 Colleague with scrubbing and circulating perioperative experience for a busy surgical service. The role partners with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care on four 10-hour shifts with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• RN with active PA license and BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN from an accredited program required; Nurse Residency preferred.
• Experience in perioperative nursing (scrub and circulating) desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through the nursing process and accountability for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with interprofessional health care team to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Demonstrate competencies in CQI, EBP, leadership, and teamwork.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical setting.
• Support professional practice standards and regulatory compliance.
• Engage in ongoing learning to advance perioperative nursing skills.
