Good Shepherd Health Care System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in perioperative nursing. You will deliver safe, patient-family centered care in the operating room and other perioperative areas, while acting as a patient advocate.

The role requires supervising assigned staff, participating in regular on-call rotation, and maintaining competencies. A strong commitment to quality and privacy is essential in a fast‑paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN license in State of Oregon, BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification, TNCC.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse specializes in perioperative nursing during intraoperative surgical experience and delivers safe, patient-family centered care in the operating room and perioperative services.
• Act as patient advocate, supervise assigned personnel, and participate in regular on-call rotation for the Surgery Unit.
• Document nursing care accurately and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure quality care.
• Maintain required competencies and pursue professional growth and involvement in relevant professional activities.
