Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking a PRN Procedure Support Tech I to assist the perioperative team. Under RN direction, you will inventory, disassemble, clean, reassemble and maintain operating room equipment, position patients, and prepare them for procedures.

You may assist with case cart preparation and transport patients, contributing to a safe, sanitary and efficient OR environment. This is a team-oriented role with emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• The Procedure Support Tech I performs patient and non-patient functions under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse.
• Inventorying, disassembling, cleaning, reassembling, maintaining operating room equipment, positioning patients, and patient preparation for procedures.
• Assists with case cart preparation and transports patients as required.
• Contributes to maintaining a clean, sanitary, orderly procedural environment and to a safe, professional patient care environment.
