Qualifications

• RN license required or preferred with AR licensure
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Influenza vaccination and TB skin test required or up to date
• One year of prior relevant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and staff with patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare procedure room and ensure sterile technique
• Monitor vital signs and record appropriately during perioperative care
• Assist sedation nurse with records, timekeeping and monitoring
• Ensure correct patient identification and consent procedures are followed
• Educate perioperative patient about risks, benefits, and expectations
